SmartScope ZIP 800

Product Overview

The SmartScope ZIP® 800 is a floor standing metrology system and has the largest measuring envelope in the SmartScope ZIP series. With it’s large XYZ measurement volume, the Smartscope ZIP 800 offers J.A. King customers a multisensor measurement option for large parts in a variety of applications.

The ZIP 800 offers excellent measurement stability with a robust granite base and bridge which provide a rigid, orthagonal foundation for accurate measurements. While traditionally strong in video measurement, the ZIP 800 is also available with contact and non-contact probes, including the unique switchable on-axis TTL laser, the Rainbow Probe™ scanning white light sensor, and the Feather Probe™ for micro-measurements of fine part details.

Like all of the other systems in the SmartScope ZIP line, the SmartScope ZIP 800 is equipped with 7:1 AccuCentric®zoom optics and offers mult-sensor capability for the ultimate flexibility in measurement for a wide variety of industrial applications. SmartScope ZIP 800 is also available with an optional 300 mm of Z-axis travel.

As a distributor for OGP, our precision measurement group offers the full line of SmartScope Zip systems throughout several of our sales territories in the U.S. For more information about the OGP products we offer, or to get a quote for new equipment, contact a local team member today.

Did you know… Cross Company is an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). Our ESOP started in 1979 and as of 2006, we are 100% employee-owned! Learn more about our ESOP and how that benefits both team members and our customers.
Did you know... the precision measurement group at Cross was founded in 1939 by our current CEO's grandfather, Jim King. That's a whole lot of calibration!
Did you know... A fingerprint weighs about 50 micrograms. We know, we weighed it! The residue left from a finger can actually make a difference in weight results which is why we wear gloves when we calibrate weights. For reference, a sheet of paper is about 4.5 grams, that’s 4.5 million micrograms.
Did you know… Cross Company has grown significantly since our start in 1954. Over the years we've acquired 26 companies! Today, our five groups have expertise in everything from industrial automation to precision measurement, and industry knowledge going all the way back to 1939.
