Hose Fittings, Couplings, and Connectors

Clamps, Quick Connects, Fittings, & More

What good is a hose without the proper fittings? At Cross Hose & Fittings you can choose from a variety of durable, easy-to-use fittings that will assure fluids and gases will flow through hoses or piping without leaking. For instance, Parker Fluid Connections’ Prestolok fittings come in different sizes and have a simple “push-to-connect” technology that will help you get the job done quickly.

Having the right hose fitting, coupling, or clamp is crucial to a project or application performing as intended. The wrong fitting could lead to leakage, damage to the hose, or total work stoppage. These are all things we aim to avoid through expert hose assembly, factory-certified technicians, and quality fittings, couplings, and connectors from industry-leading brands.

At Cross Hose and Fittings, we take the time to ensure you’re getting the right fitting or hose coupling for your unique project. We want you to have the right hydraulic or industrial hose. When you succeed, we succeed.

Parkrimp assemblies consist of No-Skive hose and fittings, permanently joined by any of our Parkrimp crimpers. The teeth in Parker’s crimp fittings bite down to the hose wire for a metal-to-metal grip with maximum integrity. Our one-piece fittings can be combined with many No-Skive hose types to cover low, medium and high pressure applications, as well as special application categories that can also be used with permanent crimped fittings.

We offer steel, brass and stainless steel fittings from 3/16” to 3” with our steel fittings featuring corrosion-resistant plating that exceeds SAE standards. Styles include O-ring face seal, flare, male pipe, metric designs and many more. All are compatible with the easy to use Parkrimp system of crimping machines.

Quick connect fittings (or quick connect couplings) are a popular choice for applications requiring leak-proof seals.

However, if quick connect couplings aren’t installed correctly, sustain damage, or are improperly sized, they can cause many additional problems. That’s why we recommend working with our hose coupling experts to make sure you have the best-performing fitting for the job.

  • Hydraulic Quick Connects
  • Hydraulic Test Point Fittings

Hose ferrules are mainly used with barbed hose fittings. They are able to slide over the hose barb and crimp. This forms a strong positive seal on the hose. Ferrules are able to provide a quick and simple hookup for bulk hose pipe thread fittings.

A hose clamp is designed to fasten a hose over a fitting through clamping down on the hose itself. This is able to prevent excessive leakage in the hose at connection points.

Our partnerships with industry-leading manufacturers allows us to provide the hose clamps and ferrules our customers rely on.

  • Worm Gear Clamps
  • Hi-Torque Clamps
  • Punch-Lok Clamps
  • Silicone Clamps

Pneumatic fittings for hose assemblies provide the link between the tube, hose, or other component and the pneumatic system. Pneumatic fittings (or air fittings) are built with tighter seals and with lower pressure requirements than a typical hydraulic fitting.

At Cross, we offer a wide range of pneumatic and push-in fittings to ensure all our customers get the exact fitting their job needs. Talk to one of our experts in any of our NC hose stores to get the pneumatic air fitting your next project requires.

Cam & groove couplings, also called cam lock fittings are a kind of quick connect coupling usually used in most industries as a hose connection to avoid leakages. This kind of coupling is popular because it is considered to be a simple and economical way of re-connecting and disconnecting

A cam & groove fitting can be used in a system where rapid filling of chemical drums takes place. It can be used by factories that have needs of dye, paint and ink medium transfers. It is used where frequent changes of hoses are required to find the right mix. It also suitable for petroleum trucks, etc.

Cam & groove couplings are not recommended for any type of compressed gas service, including steam or air.
