The Mettler Toledo POWERCELL GDD is a digital load cell that provides superior accuracy and reliability within in a canister unit for vehicle weighing. As a member of the POWERCELL load cell lineup, the GDD offers a robust design which is ideal for weathering the harshest conditions and maintaining weighing accuracy.
The POWERCELL family has stood the test of time with load cells in the field for over 20 years, offering an ideal solution for high capacity weighing with digital load cells which offer a vast improvement in weighing accuracy when compared to traditional analog load cells.

- POWERCELL® Technology – POWERCELL® load cells provide superior quality and reliability for heavy capacity weighing in the harshest environments. Digital signal processing provides advanced weighing performance compared to analog load cells.
- Improved Diagnostics – Unlike traditional analog load cell networks, POWERCELL® load cells provide diagnostic capability to alert the operator to the location of an issue. Diagnostics makes it possible to work on the individual load cell rather than going through the lengthy process of testing each cell. Compatibility with DataBridge™ provides additional value.
- Simple Connectivity – Traditional analog load cells to junction box connections provide endless headaches and frustration. POWERCELL® load cells provide simple connectivity to junction boxes via a simplified network. Cables are securely attached to load cells at the factory for a strong connection and easy installation in the field.
- Rocker Column – A quick search on line will reveal the many headaches caused by traditional analog load cells. One common nuisance is the tendency for cables to eventually wrap around the cell. METTLER TOLEDO has solved this problem with the unique rocker column on all load cells. This also helps to align the load cell for accurate weighing.
