Are you testing for all conditions?

Motorized Vehicle Industry Newsletter - July 2023 1

Whether you are manufacturing an entire vehicle or just a small component, making sure that it can handle all environmental conditions is critical. At Cross we have large test chambers capable of handling an entire vehicle and can test for a wide range of environmental conditions.

In addition, we offer sun simulation testing. Solar simulation testing measures how materials, products, or components respond to a variety of illumination conditions, such as full-spectrum, ultraviolet, or infrared. While the component is being tested, we measure potential damage from light exposure. This can include cracks, color damage, warping, and many other factors. Knowing this information can be invaluable to research and development as well as later-stage product design.
