Cross Company History – System Components
Founded by Bill Soleiu in 1982 and based in Conyers GA, System Components was a titan in the fluid controls industry. In 1991, Cross company acquired system components, and with our original Process Instrumentation group territories in North Carolina and South Carolina, became the Cross Systems Components group (CPC), covering those three states and offering several product lines.
With 10 new associates from the acquisition, and 15 associates from the original group at locations in Greenville and Raleigh, Bill continued with Cross, growing the group until his retirement in 1994. This growth included key team members such as Dan Hines, our current Director of Operations. Dan started his career with the Cross System Components group in 1993, working for Bill as an account manager and then became the sales manager in 1996, which led to his current role as our Director of Operations.
The System Components group has evolved to become our current Process Solutions Group which is now the second largest group in our organization.
