Welder Calibration

Welders or welding machines are used in a variety of industrial settings to provide high strength bonds. While there are several welding methods used based on application and desired bond strength, most operations require certified welder calibration for quality assurance purposes.

J.A. King offers NIST traceable AC/DC welder calibration with master testing equipment such as digital ammeter/voltmeters and portable load banks. Our welding machine calibration procedure requires our experienced technicians to perform voltmeter certification and ammeter certification to determine voltage and current at multiple calibration points based on model or welder type. In addition, if required, our team can also certify the inch per minute (IPM) of the wire feed meter to ensure the wire feed is functioning properly.

With multiple test points across the full range of the device, you can be assured your equipment functions on all levels and is certified with a NIST traceable calibration certificate. At J.A. King, test results are reported and stored for easy 24/7 access within GageSuite®, our cloud based calibration management system.
