Purpose-Built Liquid Filling Systems

Whether your goal is safety, accuracy, efficiency or longevity, there are many benefits of a filling system from Velcon. Take a look at the four main reasons to consider an automated or semi-automated liquid filling system for your plant, and reach out to a Cross Precision Measurement team member to learn more!

Many products, even if they are not explosive, have dangerous fumes which can overwhelm an operator. Velcon systems can include features like enclosure purges and nitrogen blankets to minimize vapors. With manual filling, there’s always a danger of spills with overfilling or operators not paying close attention. An automated or semi-automated system eliminates overfilling. In addition, the hose, valve and product are heavy. Repeated manual filling can lead to repetitive stress injuries.

Every system incorporates an automatic shut-off, so you get the exact amount needed, every time. (Resolution is 1 part in 5,000)

Automated or semi-automated systems make packaging liquids easier and more cost effective. The material flow rate is increased over a manual fill, meaning more product out the door, while maintaining accuracy. Less operator time is needed and with flexible designs, features like purging, autofilling or filling more than one container can be incorporated.

A well maintained system can fill containers for up to ten years. Cross Precision Measurement also offers annual preventative maintenance and replacement parts to ensure your system is operating at peak efficiency and accuracy.
