Specimen Dies
Starrett offers dies for testing a variety of materials, including rubber, plastic, elastomer, fabric, paper, films and more. These does help ensure accurate dimensions for your sample prep. All dies are engineered to comply with common testing standards including the following:

Extensometry
Starrett offers a full range of contact-type extensometers which are compatible with Reliant Technologies and Epsilon. In addition, they feature automatic identification of model and measuring range. Types available:

Splinter Shields
Optional splinter shields are designed specifically for both single column and duel column Starrett test frames. These shields are built with shatter-resistant aerospace acrylic and feature electronic interlocks for both ease of use, and safety.
