Cross Company acquires Regal Metrology, a Kentucky-based precision measurement company

Cross Company, a 100% employee-owned industrial solutions company that is innovating industry, one customer at a time, announced today they are acquiring Regal Metrology, a precision measurement company in Louisville, KY that specializes in dimensional measurement equipment calibration and sales.

Richard Consoli, President of Cross Precision Measurement remarked, “We are excited for the opportunity to expand to bring the resources of Cross Company to the existing Regal Metrology customers. Our extensive calibration and inspection capabilities will help us to provide these customers with a single source for all things measurement related.”

Consoli went on to say that, “Regal Metrology’s experience and technical expertise in the area of vision and multi-sensor measurement will be invaluable to Cross’s customers in Kentucky and Tennessee. As the exclusive representative for OGP, their team will be able to provide industrial customers in the area with the best measurement solutions for their application.” Regal Metrology is also exclusively authorized to sell and calibrate Versatile Technology products throughout North America. Versatile specializes in the design and manufacture of testing and measurement equipment for the packaging industry.

Regal Metrology will become a part of Cross Company’s Precision Measurement group, one of five Cross divisions, headquartered in Whitsett, NC. Their Louisville, KY office will relocate to the existing Cross Precision Measurement office in Louisville, KY and continue serving their customers in the area with an extended scope of accreditation.
