Reliable On/Off Valve Position Feedback with Valmet Limit Switches

Product Spotlight: Valmet Limit Switches 1Cross partner, Valmet Flow Control, offers a complete range of limit switches and valve position monitors, including StoneL (Quartz, Eclipse), and Neles EasyFlow (K-Series), for precise, real-time position feedback across automated quarter-turn and linear discrete valve assemblies. Utilizing solid-state proximity sensors, mechanical micro-switches, or magnetic reed elements, these units continuously transmit open/close status to plant control systems (PLC/DCS). High-visibility, shatter-proof visual display domes provide instant, 360-degree local position indication, while integrated LED status lights streamline field verification during routine operation and system startup.

Designed for harsh process conditions, Valmet limit switch enclosures are available in heavy-duty epoxy-coated anodized aluminum, stainless steel, or high-impact polycarbonate, meeting NEMA 4/4X/6 and NEMA 7&9 explosionproof standards for hazardous location service. Low-profile housing options minimize vertical clearance requirements in crowded piping arrays, while pre-wired terminal blocks and integrated junction box capacity allow operators to terminate solenoid valve wiring directly inside the switch housing to reduce field cabling costs. Supporting standard point-to-point wiring alongside digital bus networks, Valmet limit switches provide long-term feedback accuracy that protects process integrity and supports predictive maintenance.
