Tight-Sealing Process Valve and Actuator Packages from Jamesbury

Product Spotlight: Jamesbury Valves and Actuators 1Cross partner, Jamesbury, part of Valmet Flow Control, manufactures high-performance ball valves, butterfly valves, and integrated actuation systems designed for tight-sealing reliability across demanding process applications. Backed by extensive application expertise, the Cross team in Tennessee has specified and sold Jamesbury products for over 30 years, delivering decades of hands-on knowledge to local process operations.

Jamesbury ball valves incorporate flexible-lip seat technology that automatically compensates for temperature and pressure fluctuations to ensure long-term, bi-directional shutoff. Complementing the ball valve range, Jamesbury Wafer-Sphere high-performance butterfly valves utilize an offset disc design and Xtreme sealing materials to provide a compact, lighter-weight alternative to traditional gate valves without compromising seal integrity or cycle life.

To ensure seamless operation, Jamesbury valve assemblies pair with pneumatic, electric, and manual actuators engineered specifically for quarter-turn service. Options include rack-and-pinion and scotch-yoke pneumatic actuators for high-cycle automated isolation, alongside electric actuators for precise electronic positioning. By factory-matching valve bodies, seats, and actuators, Jamesbury delivers fully integrated automated valve packages that optimize cycling performance, reduce fugitive emissions, and extend maintenance intervals in critical flow lines.
