Features and Benefits

Short Platform Configuration

Fairbanks’ Short Platform Axle Weighing application allows vehicles to be weighed one axle at a time. The weighing operation can be used on an axle truck scale with dimensions of 10′ x 10′ or larger and can process gross-tare-net weighing, manual weighing or auto axle weighing.

Long Platform Configuration

Using Fairbanks’ FB2560 Instrument, the Full Length Platform Weighing application allows trucks to be weighed one axle at a time on a standard full length truck scale. The system can be configured for manual or auto axle weighing and gross-tare-net or inbound/outbound weighing. Once the vehicle is completely scale borne, a legal-for-trade gross-tare-net ticket can be provided.

Transaction Data

The FB2560 offers much versatility when it comes to completed transaction data. The instrument can be configured to save data in PDF format, or as a CSV or HTML file. The data can be manually exported to a USB jump drive, or users can remotely log into the FB2560 Instrument and download the data using their ethernet network and a standard browser.

Traffic Light Controls

When using the optional traffic light, automatic traffic light instructions will direct drivers as they weigh their truck loads. When the cycle of operation is ready to begin, the traffic light will turn green, signaling the driver to pull onto the scale. Once the system senses the weight, the light will automatically turn red. This process continues until all axles have been weighed.

Available Accessories

Fairbanks offers a wide array of accessories for Platform Axle Weighing applications. These include control boxes, remote displays, traffic lights, printers, IP cameras, and an alphanumeric keyboard.
