Blanket gas regulators are more than just valves, they’re dynamic control systems. When liquid is drawn from the tank (or as the temperature drops), the pressure in the vapor space decreases. The regulator senses this drop and immediately supplies inert gas to restore the set pressure, preventing the tank from pulling a vacuum or drawing in ambient air.
