Thread Gauges

Cross Thread Gauge Products

Thread gauges are used to measure or verify the thread size, lead, and pitch of fasteners, pipes, or any other part that is threaded. With thousands of pounds of torque and force put on many threaded connections, it’s imperative that the correct equipment is selected for verification.

One method of thread verification is the thread or screw pitch gauge. These typically have multiple blades with teeth of a known lead and pitch. They can be used to quickly verify threads on a gauge without the requirement of a full ring or plug. The downside is they are not made to measure diameter, and simply offer a two dimensional verification of the thread profile.

If you need to quickly verify threads, a thread gauge may be the most efficient solution for your operation. Contact an expert at Cross Precision Measurement to get the thread gauges your operation needs to succeed.

Thread Plug Gage

Reliable and Accurate Gauging Equipment

Another, and of the most widely used, verification methods is the go no go thread gauge. These are made in both ring and plug varieties for verifying internal and external threads and are used as a quick check in the field to verify whether or not threaded connections fit the correct counterpart.

Cross offers a wide selection of thread gauges from leading brands in the industry. We offer a variety of sizes and types such as thread depth gages and threat attribute gages to meet the needs of your specific application.
