MOREHEAD CITY – Since 2009, Reelin’ for Research has held an annual fishing tournament in Moorhead City, North Carolina, for the benefit of the N.C. Children’s Promise, held in memory of Tony Montana. Today, the organization continues to raise money for the NC Children’s Hospital, where Reelin’ for Research founders & friends have raised more than $200,000 for the cause.
This year’s tournament reeled in 37 teams and over 500 spectators at Jack’s Waterfront Bar, where J.A. King & Company provided the tournament weigh-in scales for the third year running. J.A. King & Company is proud to be a part of this cause, where we are able to put our 72 years of experience in the measurement industry to good use, through the donation of a 24″ x 24″ 1,000lbs platform scale and digital weigh indicator.
Since 1939, J.A. King & Company has been an organization whose cornerstone of success has been its focus on character, integrity, and professionalism. If your organization utilizes weighing or measurement equipment for the charitable benefit of others, contact J.A. King to learn how you may qualify to receive free measurement services and equipment.
