Arturo's Story:

Arturo started his career at Cross in the Process Solutions Group in 2016 as a Designer with a six month contract. After two months, Arturo’s quality work and dedication was recognized and he was offered a long term position as a Designer.

With a passion for programming, Arturo expressed an interest in incorporating programming into his role and was given projects to work on. His successful projects gave him the opportunity to work with the Project Engineering team doing both design and programming. At the start of 2018, Arturo moved into an exciting new role as a System Integrator Engineer (level 1).

With the new role, Arturo needed to find his replacement. Practicing his Cross Cornerstones, he took the responsibility and commitment to mentor and train his replacement and others. Through his excellent work, Arturo had become a System Integration Engineer II by 2020. “My favorite part about my job is learning through the challenges and acquiring new skills and abilities and passing it along.” His passion for learning and teaching others grew and by the end of 2021 Arturo was presented with the opportunity to become Senior System Integration Engineer.

When asked about his time with Cross, Arturo said “Cross has given me the opportunity to grow in such a manner that has never been seen before. My work always keeps me on my toes for new and exciting challenges and I get to work with such an amazing and supporting team.”
