J.A. King Acquires Evansville, Indiana Location

J.A. King is pleased to announce that we have acquired a service branch in Evansville, Indiana and we will be providing calibration services to Electro-Lab Service’s Inc.’s customers.  “I’m really excited about the opportunity to serve these new customers in the Evansville area, “said Greg King, Senior Service Director for J.A. King.  “J.A. King has a very large scope of accreditation, so we’ll be able to offer new calibration parameters and other metrology services, like testing and inspection.”

J.A. King has been working with customers in the Evansville area from its branches in Paducah and Louisville, KY.  However, this acquisition means that the company will have full-time technicians based in Evansville and working out of a permanent laboratory.  “Evansville is our third location along the Ohio River and the fourth within a 150 mile radius,“ said Mike Murphy, J.A. King’s Kentucky service manager.  “This allows us to provide our customers with world-class service and technical expertise as well as a quick response time.  Now, more than ever, J.A. King can reduce risk and improve efficiency for our customers in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Illinois.”

J.A. King is a precision measurement company based in Greensboro, North Carolina, with offices all over the Southeast and Midwest.  With over 80 years of experience in the metrology industry, our core values are character, integrity and professionalism.  J.A.
