Product Spotlight: LowFLow Fractional Flow Control Valves

Eliminating Valve Hunting in Low-Flow Dosing with the LowFlow Mark 708

Mark 708 SeriesCross partner, LowFlow Valve, a division of Richards Industrials, produces the Mark 708 Series fractional flow control valve, specifically engineered for ultra-low flow rates and precision dosing where standard control valves hunt or fail. Capable of controlling micro-flows with Cv ratings ranging from 0.00001 up to 4.0 across 1/4″ to 3/4″ line sizes, the Mark 708 utilizes a rolling diaphragm actuator design that maintains a constant effective surface area for linear stem response and high position repeatability. Guided trim and extended plug guiding come standard, providing tight shutoff (up to ANSI Class VI) and eliminating stem flex during precise modulation.

Designed with a compact footprint, the Mark 708 integrates into crowded analytical enclosures, OEM dosing skids, and pilot plant systems. The valve features quick-change trim technology, allowing operators to change trim sets in-line without recalibrating the actuator or removing the valve body. Offered in 316L stainless steel, Hastelloy, Monel, Alloy 20, and Titanium, the Mark 708 withstands corrosive chemical injection, high-pressure sampling, and high-temperature research environments, ensuring accurate chemical dosing that protects end-product quality and reduces additive waste.

Did you know... the precision measurement group at Cross was founded in 1939 by our current CEO's grandfather, Jim King. That's a whole lot of calibration!
Did you know... A fingerprint weighs about 50 micrograms. We know, we weighed it! The residue left from a finger can actually make a difference in weight results which is why we wear gloves when we calibrate weights. For reference, a sheet of paper is about 4.5 grams, that’s 4.5 million micrograms.
Did you know… Cross Company has grown significantly since our start in 1954. Over the years we've acquired 26 companies! Today, our five groups have expertise in everything from industrial automation to precision measurement, and industry knowledge going all the way back to 1939.
