Product Spotlight: Mark 60 Pressure Regulators

Self-Lapping Pressure Regulation for Demanding Process Steam Service

Product Spotlight: Mark 60 Pressure Regulators 1Cross partner, Jordan Valve, part of Richards Industries, manufactures the Mark 60 Series self-operated pressure reducing regulator, delivering precise pressure control for steam, liquid, and utility service. At the core of the unit is proprietary Sliding Gate Technology, which provides a straight-through flow path that minimizes internal turbulence, eliminates valve chatter, and drastically shortens stroke length compared to traditional globe-style regulators. The self-lapping, Jorcote-coated seats clean themselves during operation, maintaining ANSI Class IV shutoff and extending service life in demanding steam utility loops.

Engineered for maintenance-free reliability, the Mark 60 utilizes a proprietary Jorlon diaphragm rated for over one million full-stroke cycles, significantly reducing unplanned plant downtime. Available in line sizes from 1/4″ to 4″ across ductile iron, bronze, carbon steel, and stainless steel bodies, the regulator easily accommodates setpoints from 1 to 450 psi. The short stroke design minimizes regulator droop, while the drop-in seat configuration allows for simplified, tool-free maintenance directly in the line.

Did you know... A fingerprint weighs about 50 micrograms. We know, we weighed it! The residue left from a finger can actually make a difference in weight results which is why we wear gloves when we calibrate weights. For reference, a sheet of paper is about 4.5 grams, that’s 4.5 million micrograms.
Did you know… Cross Company has grown significantly since our start in 1954. Over the years we've acquired 26 companies! Today, our five groups have expertise in everything from industrial automation to precision measurement, and industry knowledge going all the way back to 1939.
