Machine Tending for Injection Molding

Overview

In this video a robotic cell is designed to automatically load parts into a injection molding machine. These parts are loaded onto an infeed conveyor, inspected with a vision system, and removed from the outfeed conveyor. For this demo, we were able to keep operators away from handling hot material and free up time to perform higher level tasks.

Whether you need to tend a high volume job or create a flexible station, our engineering team is able to provide you with an integrated automation solution based on your needs. Our automated systems are designed to operate without constant manual interaction, communicating directly with your machinery to run cycles, handle parts, and keep your operation moving efficiently around the clock.
