Groth main logo

Product Overview

Pressure relief valves, vacuum relief valves and combination pressure/vacuum relief valves are used on aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) to ensure a stable pressure when filling with media, pumping out and thermal breathing conditions.  The Groth line of PVRVs are for tanks with less than 15 psig of Maximum Allowable Working Pressure (MAWP).  These are non-coded tanks and may fall into API 620, 650 or 12D standards.

Groth relief valves :

  • Are direct acting vent valves, either weight or spring loaded (for pressures above 1lb psig)
  • Can discharge to atmosphere (end of line) or to a pipe header (piped away)
  • Are available in either side mounted or top mounted variants, depending on tank specification
  • Are available with or without a flame arrester

All Groth relief valves feature:

  • A short lead time
  • A competitive price
  • A wide range of options suited for every application
