Ensuring data integrity in mobile applications requires more than just a standard vehicle suspension. For a cellular phone service provider, mapping signal strength meant mounting sensitive electronic detection devices to external vehicle racks—exposing them to damaging road shock and high-frequency engine vibrations. Without specialized protection, these expensive tracking devices faced constant risk of failure and compromised data.To solve this, ITT Enidine implemented WR12 and WR16 Wire Rope Isolators. These all-metal, corrosion-resistant mounts provided maintenance-free, multi-axis isolation capable of handling loads up to 3,600 lbs. Because they remain unaffected by extreme temperatures (-150 degrees F to 500 degrees F), oils, and abrasives, they offered a reliable “set-and-forget” solution for the harsh outdoor environments encountered during signal mapping.
