Industry 4.0

ZSE breaks are available with smart sensors to detect disengagement and internal temperature.

Zero Backlash

While some competitors can only promise zero backlash at 10% of rated torque, the ZSE family of brakes can hold up to 100% of rated torque. They are able to accomplish this by using a solid hub to hold torsional rigidity. The one-piece hub clamping collar lowers inertia and eliminates spline.

Range of Applications

Use in a range of applications such as a positioning indexer, trunnion table, shaft setup or conveyor system.

No overheating

The brakes are spring-engaged and air released. The pneumatic function keeps the unit cool, eliminating performance problems that you might see in electrical brakes.
