Intertek Functional Safety mark certified to increase the safety of processes and machines – an industry first!

With functional safety being a major priority in machine design, Nexen has launched a new series of Nexsafe products. These Industry 4.0 brakes can be applied to all makes of servo motors, profile rail, round rail, and pneumatic cylinders. With ISO 13849-1 Functional Safety Certification by Intertek©, these brakes are capable of Categories B through 4 and Performance Levels PLa through PLe. These NexSafe Functional Safety certified Rod Locks, Rail Brakes and Servomotor Brakes default to lock and are ideal for emergency stopping and holding applications.

Did you know... A fingerprint weighs about 50 micrograms. We know, we weighed it! The residue left from a finger can actually make a difference in weight results which is why we wear gloves when we calibrate weights. For reference, a sheet of paper is about 4.5 grams, that’s 4.5 million micrograms.
