Cross Company History – Kanawha Scales and Systems – Memphis
Founded as Complete Scale Service and acquired by Kanawha Scales and Systems in 2008, Kanawha Scales and Systems in Memphis was a precision scale service provider offering a range of calibration services in Memphis and the surrounding area. As one of several Kanawha locations at the time, their team had an extensive background in high capacity scale servicing and repair.
With our precision measurement group expanding into the region and Kanawha Scales and Systems focusing on growth in other regions of the U.S., Kanawha Scales in Memphis was acquired by J.A. King in 2013. This acquisition of their operations allowed us to better serve customers in the area, while building out territory further into the Midwest.
J.A. King went on to become our precision measurement group and today operates a full service calibration laboratory in Memphis, offering both scale calibration services along with a range of other precision measurement solutions.
