Cross Company History – Flow Tech
Founded in 1984 by Rich Easton, Flow-Tech, Inc. was a manufacturers representative and stocking distributor of process instrumentation and calibration equipment, offering extensive instrument service work and system integration. Headquartered in Hunt Valley, MD with offices in Ashland, VA and Tidewater, VA, Flow-Tech has a proud history in the Mid-Atlantic region as a family owned and locally operated corporation. Beginning as a rep firm handling Brooks Instrument, Flow Tech quickly grew through acquisition and strategic planning, to distribute over fifteen industry leading lines throughout Maryland and Virginia.
In 2020, Flow Tech was acquired by Cross Company, and greatly expanded our Process Solutions group offering in the Mid-Atlantic area. Along with the acquisition came the addition of several associates, including Chris and Dick Easton, second generation owners each with 25 years of experience in sales, engineering, and management. They led a team that continued to build the established reputation for responsive service and accurate product knowledge, which fit well into our customer focused approach to industrial applications. Today, as our Mid-Atlantic team, the same associates offer the same products and services, in addition to an even wider range of solutions from Cross Company.
