Cross Company History – B&C Instruments
Founded in 1969 in Huntsville, AL, B&C Instruments was one of the oldest calibration laboratories in the southeastern U.S. They offered a very broad scope of high quality, high accuracy calibration services that included a large range of electronic, physical, and dimensional parameters with technicians specialized in electrical measuring instrument repair. Customers and industries served included aerospace, automotive, pharmaceuticals, missiles and defense, electronic manufacturing, telecommunication, other general industry and manufacturing.
In 2017, B&C Instruments was acquired by J.A. King, which would go on to become our Precision Measurement Group. The addition of the B&C Instruments team further increased J.A. King’s market share in Alabama and expanded its calibration and repair capability in multiple industries throughout the region. Today, the B&C Instruments team operates as our Huntsville, AL area calibration laboratory.
