Application Engineering Support Services

When starting an automation project, having to guess which components, architectures, and system interactions are necessary is a drain on time, money, and performance. That’s why Cross Company offers dedicated Application Engineering Support Services, helping you turn your automation concept into an operational reality.

Our engineers work directly with your team to identify process demands (for example, precision, speed, environment, throughput, etc). Then we help specify a solution based on those considerations. With our decades of experience, we’re able to ask the questions that others may overlook, like what are the true boundary conditions? What happens under changeover or long-term drift? What OEM or supply limitations exist? Then we bring the answers through practical, deployable design.

Let’s Engineer Success Together

When you’re ready to move from concept to reality, Cross Company is here to help. Our engineers bring decades of automation experience, proven problem-solving ability, and trusted partnerships with leading component manufacturers.

Whether you’re defining requirements or refining a full system architecture, we’ll help you get it right the first time.

Integrating Solutions from Industry Leading Brands

Our team works with an industry leading number of suppliers when developing solutions for our customers, so we can integrate the right components every time. Our expertise, paired with access to a wider range of materials, means we can build the best solution for your process.

Benefits of Expert Industrial Application Engineering

We’ve been in the automation business for a long time. In fact, our first automation customer goes all the way back to the 1950s (and they’re still a Cross customer). So when you partner with Cross for application engineering services, you’re getting decades of experience, engineering expertise, and problem solving in addition to

  • Reduced Risk – We ensure everything fits your process, not just in spec but also context. This reduces the risk of mis-sized or mismatched components
  • Better Performance – Improve uptime and process performance with correct sizing and architecture
  • Faster Time To Value – A well-engineered system means fewer iterations, less downtime and faster ROI
