Quick Check Gas Detection
The Dräger CMS System brings gas detection into a new era, combining the reliable dry chemical technology that made Dräger-Tubes so popular for 70 years with a chip. Forget about calibration, because the barcode on the chip does it for you. Working with the CMS Analyzer, the CMS Chip measures a wide variety of gases and vapors—in fact, there are 55 different chips to choose from, to suit your needs.

You can take precise measurements with a mass flow controller, and don’t worry about making mistakes, because the photo-optical technology removes human error. The CMS also checks for leaks electronically before you take a measurement—and you can take as many as 100 using two AA alkaline batteries.
Quick Air
If you have extremely short periods of breathing escape (10 to 15 minutes) in IDLH situations, you’ll want the Quick Air Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus (EEBA). The Quick Air is durable, NIOSH-approved and provides a continuous flow of air at 40 liters per minute. It’s easy to carry—on either shoulder, across your chest or around your neck, with a visible cylinder gauge—and easy to put on, even in the dark: Just consult the illustrations printed on the orange, flame- and chemical-resistant carrying bag.

The transparent self-extinguishing hood won’t fog up, has an unlimited field of vision, and it will cover long hair, facial hair, and glasses. And the Quick Air can be refilled and used again. When you’re not using the Quick Air, you can store it in a hard plastic storage case or wall-hanging kit. And don’t worry about it deteriorating, the carry bag also resists mildew and ultraviolet rays.
SCBA
You’ll want to protect your mouth, throat and lungs from exposure to ammonia; and in concentrations of 300 ppm or higher, NIOSH requires you to do so. The Dräger ProAir Evolution SCBA will do the trick, because it’s lightweight and comfortable and allows you to move freely while you’re detecting refrigerant leaks.
It works well with the Panorama Nova mask, constructed to conform to all face sizes and takes lightweight, aluminum compressed air cylinders that last from 30, 45 and 60 minutes (and compressed airline connection, and other accessories). And breathe easy knowing that the ProAir Evolution is NIOSH-certified and comes equipped with a high-performance pneumatic system—the same one used in Draeger’s fire fighting unit—and backed with a lifetime warranty.
A Gas Monitor for Every Occasion
Maintenance-free, lightweight, reliable. These are the qualities you want in a gas monitor, and the Pac 3500/5500 Series delivers. These single gas monitors have fast-acting alarms that let you know when hazardous levels of CO2 and H2S are present. The Pac 3500 is bare-bones and only shows you the gas type (it will sound an alarm if there is a concentration of gases). The Pac 5500 has a continuous display of the gas concentration and comes with a data logger.
The Pac 7000 is compatible with several sensors that measure CO2, H2S, O2, HCN, PH3, CO2, SO2, NO2, CI2 and NH3. Whichever model you choose, you’ll have your own personal lifesaver equipped with a large display, loud and bright audio and visual alarms, as well as a vibrating alarm.
