SLK25 Laser Scanner 1

Product Overview

High Accuracy, High Resolution Blue Laser CMM Scanner

The VIVID laser scanner technology of the SLK25 from LK Metrology provides metrology professionals the opportunity to maximize efficiency when measuring complex surfaces, small details, fragile parts, dark materials, and reflective surfaces. This high-resolution blue laser CMM scanner is able to overcome many of the limitations inherent in tactile inspection and other non-contact technologies.

As manufacturing processes and end-products become more complex, the need to adapt continues to grow in importance. Adaptation to new designs and new materials is a necessary part of meeting increasing demands of manufacturers and quality assurance teams. While the traditional tactile inspection methods are still preferred in many applications, the need for smart solutions continues to grow. By capturing large quantities of high-density data rapidly, laser scanning is able to provide a detailed analysis of the whole part being scanned. This also allows for the easy understanding of graphical evaluation of tolerances.

Modern laser scanners are an increasingly viable alternative to tactile metrology, providing manufacturers with a smarter solution that is able to more fully optimize productivity, accuracy, and versatility across a range of parts, processes, and materials.
