SCHUNK’s EGU universal gripper is ideal for operations with flexible production process, even starting from a batch size of one. This gripper can be freely networked, easily integrated into multi-variant production processes, and performs even in harsh manufacturing environments. With an impressive integrated gripping force (plus StrongGrip mode for even greater force), the EGU is a reliable universal gripper able to handle a diverse range of applications. Interfaces offered include PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, IO-Link, and Modbus RTU. Further, with the supplied PLC function modules as well as plug-ins for leading robot manufacturers, software integration is streamlined and able to integrate into a wide variety of industrial settings without adding additional gateways or excess programming workloads.
