Kreon Case study - Geven - 3D scanners for Aircraft Seating 1

Overview

This case study from Kreon highlights how Geven, an airline seat manufacturer in Italy, uses an Ace measuring arm with a Skyline Wide 3D scanner for a range of applications in their quality process. These include;  control of tools for plastic and composite parts, inspection of the first injected plastic parts (verification of deformations, hole positions), control of the metal structure of the seats, assembly checks (docking with neighboring parts), and reverse engineering of parts without CAD.

“One year after the acquisition of the Kreon measuring arm, we can say that we are satisfied with the system and the technical support in terms of availability, response time and competence.”  Learn more and contact a precision measurement specialist from Cross Company to see how a Kreon solution can improve efficiency in your operation.
