Cross Company History – Tennessee Scale Works
Founded in 1946, Tennessee Scale Works, Inc. specialized in weighing systems such as industrial scales, laboratory balances, force measurement equipment, inventory rental scales and custom weighing solutions. Based in Nashville, TN, they offered a wide range of calibration and repair services in the middle Tennessee region.
In 2012, Tennessee Scale Works was acquired by J.A. King, which would go on to become our Precision Measurement Group. The addition of the team at Tennessee Scale Works further expanded our service area in the region and today, our Nashville team operates a full service calibration laboratory in Fairview, TN.
