Cross Company History - Regal Metrology 1

Founded in 1994, Regal Metrology offered precision metrology solutions ranging from hand held gages to fully automatic inspection systems from many of the world’s leading metrology related brands, including; Micro-Vu Corporation, Renishaw, Mitutoyo, Mahr, Versatile Technology, ProLink and more. Based in Louisville, KY their territory covered Kentucky, Tennessee, and parts of Indiana and Mississippi. In addition, Regal Metrology was a factory authorized service/calibration provider for Micro-Vu and Versatile Technology with ISO 17025 accreditation.

Cross Company acquired Regal Metrology in May of 2021 to join our precision measurement group, working with the team at our Louisville calibration laboratory to continue offering their expertise and range of products in the area. With the acquisition, Cross Company is now an exclusive distributor for OGP Multisensor Measurement products (A division of QVI) in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Southern Indiana. We are also now a distributor in North America for Versatile Technology,  Australian-based manufacturer of measurement equipment machines for the aluminum can market.
