Cross Company History – Anderson Scale Company, Inc.

Founded in 1992, Anderson Scale Company, Inc. specialized in scale calibration and repair in the greater Des Moines area. With a background in high capacity scales, the team at Anderson Scale had expertise in truck scales, rail scales, platform scales, and other large capacity systems. Based in central Iowa, they had an extensive background in weighing systems for the agricultural and livestock industries.

In 2014, Anderson Scale was acquired by J.A. King, which would go on to become our Precision Measurement Group. The addition of the team at Anderson Scale expanded our service area into the Midwest region and today, our Des Moines team operates a full service calibration laboratory servicing much of central Iowa.
