Cross Helps Military Base Install Secure Smart Valves
A military base was in need of smart valves for their high-pressure air service to a wind tunnel test stand. The application required ANSI 2500# Class valves with modern electric actuators. For security reasons, they required that the actuator not have Bluetooth capabilities. Cross Company was able to assemble custom automated valves for their application. We utilized Sesto brand valves with Rotork CK series actuators. Although the Bluetooth capabilities were removed to ensure security and reduce the risk of external tampering, the actuators still featured smart capabilities.
