Cross Hose & Fittings Helps Customer Design Custom Vacuum Box Solution
A manufacturer of die-cast automotive parts contacted Cross Hose & Fittings about building a vacuum box for one of their die-cast machines. They knew what they wanted but were not sure what parts they needed to put it together. Garrett in the Asheville hose and fittings store built the box for them utilizing EO Parker Metric bite tub fittings. These metric fittings feature Superior Plating that provides unrivaled protection against corrosion, even in the harshest conditions. Because our team strives to go above and beyond for our customers, we didn’t stop at just specifying the parts they needed or even with building the box itself. Because he knew this would be a repeat order for the customer, Garrett put together a bill of materials for the box as well as a schematic diagram to help them assemble the vacuum box in the future.

By creating a schematic diagram and bill of materials for the future we have also helped to improve the customer’s efficiency.
