Cross Company History – Alt Controls
Founded in 1976 by Dan Altman, Alt Controls Inc. was a distributor of pneumatic control components. They had an exclusive distributorship for Numatics in Virginia and offered a range of components from other brands such as Aurora, Advanced Automation, American Cylinder, Master Pneumatic throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. In 1998, Alt Controls joined the automation group at Cross Company and expanded our product offering to better serve customers in the region with pneumatic solutions.
