Important GageSuite Update

GageSuite is based upon Netsuite, an Oracle-owned software company. On April 21, 2018, Netsuite will be upgrading all of its security protocols to use TLS 1.2. TLS (Transport Level Security) protocol is an established method for ensuring private, trustworthy, and reliable communication between computer programs over a network.

Analysis by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) has found that TLS versions earlier than 1.2 include serious vulnerabilities that put organizations at risk.

For J.A. King customers, this means that anyone using a browser which does not support TLS 1.2 will not be able to access the GageSuite customer portal and will get an error message. The browsers below DO support TLS 1.2:

  • Internet Explorer version 11 and above
  • Mozilla Firefox version 27 and above
  • Google Chrome version 30 and above
  • Safari version 7 and above

Users with older versions of their browser may get error messages like:

  • The web page might be temporarily down or may have moved permanently to a new web address.
  • Secure connection failed.
  • This webpage is not available.
  • Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.
  • The page cannot be displayed.

To continue to have access to GageSuite, please ensure your browser is one of the versions above or later. If you are unsure of what version browser your computer is running, here’s a helpful article.

If you have any questions or concerns about this issue, please contact your local J.A. King office or call 800-327-7727.
