Today (February 17th) marks the 150th anniversary of the day that the Confederate submarine H.L. Hunley attacked and sunk the Union ship Housatonic off the coast of Charleston, SC (the first time in history that a submarine sunk an enemy warship). The Hunley disappeared shortly after this attack and was not discovered until 1995. And when authorities needed help in safely raising the Hunley from its resting place at the bottom of the Atlantic, they called on J.A. King for assistance!
