Product Spotlight - GROTH Model 22E Emergency Relief Valve

The Groth Model 22E Emergency Relief Valve is designed to manage high-flow pressure relief for storage tanks during emergency events. It features a quick-opening mechanism that reaches a full-open position at 10% overpressure, providing rapid relief to prevent structural tank damage. The valve is manufactured with sealing processes intended to minimize leakage and fugitive emissions, supporting environmental compliance.

This model serves as a direct replacement for standard ASME #150, API 12, or API 650 emergency relief valves. It is available in sizes ranging from 4” to 24” and can be configured with various materials, including carbon steel or stainless steel bases and multiple diaphragm options like Buna-N, FKM, or FEP. The design allows for simplified maintenance to reduce operational downtime, and it is tested to comply with API 2000/ISO 28300 standards for flow and pressure requirements.
