Particularly when it comes to potentially life saving equipment like the Draeger “PARAT”® Escape Hoods. Draeger “PARAT”® Escape Hoods were designed to be easily donned and once deployed, to protect users from toxic industrial and fire related gases, vapors and particles for at least 15 minutes.

An Escape Hood Should be Easily Accessible, Fast and Easy to Use

  • Open the Case – the seal is broken, filter plugs release and the canister deploys automatically.
  • Put the Hood On – the internal head harness and elastic neck strap adjust automatically to allow for a quick fit on many different head sizes and shapes
  • ESCAPE

Robust and Configurable

The designers at Draeger understand that emergency equipment is stored and/or carried much more than it will ever be used so ergonomics, durability and carrying comfort were major considerations during the development of this product line.

PARAT® Emergency Escape Hoods can be ordered with your choice of a Hard Case (IP54) or a Soft Pack (IP5) which protect them from a wide variety of harsh industrial environments. Combine the Hard Case and/or Soft Pack with a belt clip, carrying strap or wall mount bracket allows you to configure your Escape Hood to suit your individual needs.

Comfortably store and wear your PARAT Escape Hood in your choice of a Hard Case or Soft Pack carrying case. Carrying Cases can be worn on your person using the available belt, shoulder strap Grip Clip or or Belt Clip. A special Wall Holder is also available for the Hard Case only
