The Graphite Series Red Lion HMI is the newest series of Red Lion HMI and was released in July 2013. The Red Lion Graphite Series HMI has a rugged, cast-aluminum housing as well as sleek indoor and outdoor displays. We have heard from many people that that have not seen any HMIs like this in the industry.

In addition to their ruggedness, appearance, and resolution, they also have these key features:

  • Flexible plug-in modules including: Single and Dual Loop PID
  • Control Modules, Digital I/O Modules, Analog Input
  • Modules, Analog Output Modules and Thermocouple and RTD modules
  • Easy protocol conversion to over 250 major industrial protocols using drag-and-drop data mapping via Crimson 3.0
  • Real-time data logging to collect, store, and display data in open .CSV file format with the ability to Email or FTP logged files
  • Securely monitor, access, or control all system functions
  • Email or text message alarm and event notifications
  • Web- and network-enable any and all connected devices to auto-upload data to FTP, web pages and/or dashboards.

You can also display the screen, view tags only, or serve custom pages!

G3 Series

The G3 Series Red Lion HMI is the traditional HMI that has been on the market for a while and has been used in many industrial applications. For less than many stripped-down HMIs, the G3 Series can offer many of the same features included in the Graphite series, except the display is not as advanced. The G3 Series HMI comes standard with three serial comms, Ethernet, protocol converter, USB, and Compact Flash slot. The G3 Series also comes with the free Crimson 3.0.

Kadet Series

TheKadet Series Red Lion HMI offers an inexpensive solution for OEM applications or end users that may not require as many features or a large display. One of the common key features that the G3 Kadet HMIs DOES NOT SUPPORT is data logging. These units come in 4″ and 7″ versions.

Red Lion Crimson 3.0 Software

We know that some competitors may charge for their proprietary software, but Red Lion Controls provides Crimson 3.0 free of charge! Software updates, support, cabling instructions, and communication drivers from Red lion Controls are also free. Additionally, a large library of over 5,000 industrial graphics, a built-in emulator, and full-featured syntax programming are also included in the Crimson software.
