Table Top Vacuum Chamber

Cross Company Table-Top Vacuum Chamber

Designed to vacuum test small containers for quality control, Cross developed an easy to use table-top vacuum chamber to hold up to wear and tear in high volume operations. A container can be placed in the chamber for a specific period of time, and then checked for leaks.

Cross engineering was asked to remedy issues in a process which caused malfunctions, and required frequent service calls or replacement. The improved system withstands frequent testing, reduces the chance of malfunction, and increases the overall efficiency in the QC process by reducing downtime. Adding to the value of the improved machinery, Cross currently produces two size options for different product capacities.

Advancing Testing and Manufacturing Processes

Table-top vacuum chambers are versatile automation solutions capable of benefiting industrial operations in many ways.

Essentially, table-top vacuum chambers create a controlled environment in which air pressure is significantly reduced, forming a vacuum. This is able to simulate real-world conditions in which a product would be in low-pressure environments. Having this simulation data can be invaluable for both testing and manufacturing purposes. Further, the precise control of pressure with the table-top chamber allows for precise experimentation, product testing, quality assurance, and much more.

Table-top vacuum chambers can be used in many industries, including electronics/semiconductor, pharmaceutical devices, medical devices, materials science, food and beverage, and research.

Benefits of Table-Top Vacuum Chambers

Utilizing Cross Company table-top vacuum chambers provides testing and manufacturing operations with a wide range of benefits. Some of these can include

Accurate Simulation

Table-top vacuum chambers are able to provide controlled environments where specific pressure conditions can be simulated accurately and repeatedly. This allows manufacturers to evaluate product performance, identify potential issues, and make improvements.

Improved Quality

By subjecting products or components to vacuum conditions, manufacturing operations are able to identify and fix any potential defects or weaknesses in the product before it reaches market. This leads to increased end user trust, a higher quality product, and greater reliability.

Efficient Development

By using table-top vacuum chambers, OEMs and other manufacturers can develop and refine production processes more efficiently. By testing in a controlled vacuum environment, manufacturers can identify ideal product conditions, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
