Stober Gen 3 Planetary Gear Units

Stober Gen 3 Planetary Gear Units 1

Product Overview

Improve performance with the new compact designed Gen 3 Planetary Series

Stober’s Gen 3 Planetary gearboxes feature a sleek new design with significantly improved performance. These new units boast reduced backlash, 67% increased torque, 50% increased stiffness, and a 45% increase in input speed. When paired with a geared motor, these units have the shortest length on the market — often able to fit an inline unit where you would have needed to place a right angle unit in the past. This gives you more room for other components or allows you to create a smaller machine.

This easy to install solution is great for a range of different industries including:

  • Machine tools
  • Robotics
  • Packaging
  • Semiconductor
  • Food & Beverage
  • and more!
